Alister Ferguson, Director and CEO
Alister was raised on a cattle station in central QLD and spent several years working on cattle and sheep stations in QLD and the Northern Territory. He completed a degree in Rural Business at Sydney University Orange Campus and joined Sanger Australia as a Trainee in 2000.
In 2004 while at Sanger, Alister started The Organic Meat Company growing it to be the largest organic processor in Australia. Alister was honoured with the Westpac Young Beef Achiever award, at Beef Australia 2009, for his role in developing “The Organic Meat Company” brand. Today Alister is CEO of Arcadian where he looks after the day-to-day running of the business with a particular focus on growing our export markets and the Beef processing division of the business, he is based at Arcadian’s Toowoomba office.
Peter Gall, Livestock Manager
Peter manages our network of Cattle producers. Growing up on a sheep and cattle property in Central Western Queensland, he moved on to acquire a diploma of business management from Marcus Oldham College. Peter was one of the early adopters of the certified organic movement becoming involved in the late 1990’s as a founding partner of Organic Plus before joining Nippon Meat Packers as an Organic Supply Chain Manager.
Peter later helped found the Organic Meat Company in 2005 before integrating with Arcadian Organic & Natural Meat in 2012. Peter has since built a robust and thriving supplier base for Arcadian.

Tony Briese, Production Manager
Tony brings to the team extensive know-how across the full production spectrum and actively works with producers and our processing facilities to improve output and quality.
