All Arcadian Organic livestock are raised on certified organic, family-owned, Australian farms. Each producer is hand selected by our team, based on the quality of their produce and their demonstrated commitment to upholding the principles of certified organic farming.
Each producer must meet stringent requirements as set by Arcadian Organic’s certifying bodies and adhere to the National Standard for Organic and Biodynamic Produce. This includes, protecting the biodiversity of their farms, raising animals that are free to roam and practice natural behaviours, and be free from synthetic chemicals and HGPs (Hormone Growth Promotants). All producers participate in ongoing monitoring by both Arcadian and third party certifiers to ensure adherence to standards throughout production.
We are also proud to represent producers who have achieved accreditation in the Global Animal Partnership (GAP) program, a welfare standard supported by farmers, scientists, ranchers, animal welfare advocates and retailers who work collaboratively to promote continuous improvement in animal agriculture. Similarly, our natural beef producers are approved by the United States Department of Agriculture – Food Safety Inspection Service (USDA FSIS).
Arcadian producers may represent a new generation of Australian farmers but they believe in time-honoured farming values, always taking a long-term, best-practice approach.
