Arcadian Organic & Natural Meat Co, Australia’s leading supplier of organic and natural meat, today announced its latest steps to continue the global expansion of its brands.
In order to focus on downstream initiatives including product development and entering new markets, Arcadian has sold its two rural properties to Australian family-controlled business Hewitt Cattle Australia (HCA). HCA will also take a minority stake in Arcadian as part of the broader deal.
Arcadian will leverage its core competencies to further consolidate its position as a leader in the global organic and natural meat industry, which in turn will provide greater support to the company’s existing and future producer partners. Arcadian already enjoys excellent support from over 120 organically certified suppliers, who will continue to be an integral part of the company’s growth.
Arcadian’s key domestic retail product, Cleaver’s Organic Meat, has been a favourite of Australian Customers for over 15 years. This product line is available through Coles and Woolworths stores as well as leading independent retailers. Arcadian will continue to use Cleaver’s to drive domestic growth and lead the brand development charge into global markets.

In the United States, its largest export market, Arcadian has built partnerships with several major retailers, and the company is also continuing its expansion into high growth Asian markets.
