We know organic meat is good for our body and health, and two-time U.S Olympian snowboarder Elena Hight agrees.
In a March 25 press release, Elena shared her top secrets to good health and wellness – and among them was the advice to indulge in fresh, free-range organic produce, including organic meat.
Elena recommends eating fresh produce from a local source, such as free range eggs and organic meat, and uses them in her own diet.
“I try to bring out the best in foods and not try to cover them up”, she stated.
This athlete has competed twice at the Olympics in snowboard half pipe, and her achievements have come at a young age. She was the first woman to land a 900 in a 2002 competition at just 13 years old, and has since continued to prove her talent in snowboarding over the years.
Part of her life philosophy is living a healthy and active lifestyle, and we think eating fresh produce might have something to do with her success, alongside her natural talent!
The best way to view the switch to a healthy lifestyle is by thinking simply, according to Elena. Organic meat is the epitome of simplicity – raising animals in their natural habitat with no complicated additives, techniques or chemicals is probably the simplest way to farm, and buying it is an even easier choice.
“A lot of people are overwhelmed by healthy living, because they don’t know where to start,” Hight stated. “Simplifying it really helps”.
Among Elena’s other tips are heading outdoors, soaking in Epsom salt to ease aches and pains, and practising meditation and yoga. She’s also an advocate for the humane treatment of animals, and encourages people to purchase beauty products made with no animal-cruelty.
That’s why we think she’d approve of organic meat farmed naturally – it’s ethical, simple, healthy, and delicious all rolled into one!
